We are happy to announce that tickets to our charity fundraising Bonfire & Fireworks Night at 6pm on Friday 5th November are now on sale.
We can’t wait to welcome you all back for a fun evening at Strathallan Games Park, after we missed last year due to Covid, there are a few important things we need to tell you about the event & how we can have our fun and still stay safe: •
• We have to put a limit on the number of attendees in line with government guidance, this will mean there will be around 40% fewer people in the games park, which will help with social distancing, giving each other plenty of space to enjoy the night safely.
• In order to keep track of the number of people attending, this year we will be selling all tickets in advance, so please don’t turn up on the night at the gate without a ticket and buy early to avoid disappointment.
• As part of our measures to protect those who attend and to get our event licence, we won’t have a live music performance this year. This avoids crowding at the stage, and also keeps the event affordable to run with the restriction on the number of tickets we can sell. We will still have a great professional fireworks display, bonfire, food and refreshments!
• In order to get our event license and keep people as safe as we can, we need to follow government guidance for large events, & so we need to ask people only to attend if you have the NHS COVID Status App or an equivalent paper or digital certificate, and are happy for this to be checked on the gate. Sorry, we cannot allow entry without proof of vaccination, unless under 18 or exempt.
We want to thank everyone in the local community for your support with this event – we are just a small bunch of guys who want to raise funds for local good causes who are struggling right now and spread some long-awaited fun & cheer while we do it! We look forward to seeing you soon – thank you!
